A few days ago our neighbor called to let us know that it was time to harvest the hay. They grow a couple of acres of hay and it is harvested 2 or 3 times a year. They hire someone to bale it but then they have to go out and toss the bales up onto a trailer and then stack them in the barn. It goes a lot faster with help so we offered to assist. Plus we figure being friendly with people with hay is a smart move since come winter we are going to have some hay eating machines needing feeding!
