After weeks of freezing weather, we have had a beautiful weekend! The water troughs have all thawed out and we’ve been able to spend time in the barn and pasture without wanting to rush back inside to get warm.

Larry’s face is almost completely healed now, you can just see a small scab on the right of his nose. A big improvement over the infected abscess he had a week or two ago!
Luc is always so curious about the camera, its hard to get anything but close ups of him!

This is Etta experiencing the pure bliss of having her horn nubs scratched. Etta is kind of like a cat, either she pretends you don’t exist or she wants ALL of your attention RIGHT NOW. Never anything in between!
Someone was walking down the road about 200yd away and the llamas were on high alert as long as the person was in view. Our guard llamas take their jobs very seriously!
